Royal Mail is honouring Sir Sir Paul McCartney with a collection of stamps, featuring artwork from eight album covers which have defined his career, going on sale later this month.
The legendary British singer/songwriter follows in the footsteps of fellow artists including Sir Elton John, Queen, Pink Floyd, and David Bowie, all of whom have appeared on special postage stamps, and Royal Mail posted on social media 'Announced today: We’re celebrating one of the UK’s greatest music icons with stamps and limited edition souvenirs honouring the record-breaking career of @PaulMcCartney. Our stamps and souvenirs honour an iconic artist recognised by Guinness World Records as the most successful songwriter of all time'.
